Forwarding a share link to someone else could cause inaccuracies in tracking. Share links are unique to individuals and should never be forwarded.Occasionally, errors when registering to use the app for the first time can also cause discrepancies.
However, this is pretty easy to fix! You can edit any name and the contact information that accompanies it in your desktop dashboard.
(Example- I just shared my app and it says someone else is sharing it)
- Log in to your desktop dashboard and navigate to your 'Tappers' tab
- Click on the name you want to edit
- Update the contact details
- Click the "Update" button
If you forwarded the link to someone else like this, you will need to resend the app with the built-in share tool or from your desktop dashboard.
