CardTapp 201: Session 3 - Co-branding Follow
CardTapp 201
Advanced Features (Co-branding)
With the basics behind us, we're moving on to a review of some of our advanced features. In this third session of our advanced features, we'll look at how you can rapidly expand your network while adding value to your referral partners with our co-branding feature:
For this session, you will need:
- A "Pro" subscription
- Your computer
- Your cell phone
- The headshot and logo of an existing referral partner who has your app
One of the most valuable parts of your app and a "Pro" subscription is the ability to create co-branded partners. Co-branding your app with referral partners’ information gives them a huge incentive to share your app because they are on it too! Co-branding your app with someone else essentially takes their traditional business card and adds it into your digital business card, adding significant value to those critical partners to continue to build on your existing relationship. A co-branded partner's information initially appears as a ribbon on your home screen where users can click the arrow to expand the referral partner to view their information or reach out to them directly.
Before you make someone a co-branding partner, they must first be a Tapper. Once they’re in your Tapper list, click their name to get to their Tapper profile. Towards the bottom of their Tapper profile, click to turn the cobranding toggle to the “on” position; once you do that, you have additional fields to add information about the referral partner. In the desktop dashboard, you also have an images tab where you can upload your referral partner's headshot and logo.
Any time a co-branded partner shares the app, it will be co-branded with their information. You can choose which Tapper sees which version of your app within their Tapper profile with the "Cobranded with" field. You can also choose which version you share with a new recipient from your dashboard and TappTracker app - just select from the co-branding dropdown menu.
