Insert Merge Fields in a Message Follow
Members with a Pro subscription can personalize Auto-Response messages from their Business Line number and text message campaigns with merge fields. There are merge fields for you (the member) as well as the app user (Tapper). To add merge fields:
Navigate to the 'SMS Messages' tab of the dashboard
Click the "Auto-responder" text next to the Auto-responder toggle to edit the message where you would like to add a merge field then click the "Insert Field" icon to the top-right of the text box:

On the campaigns tab, click the "Insert Field" icon to the top-right of the text box. Use the radio buttons to select the merge field category (Tapper or Member) and select the desired merge field from the dropdown menu.
Click the "Save" button in the Auto responder tool or the "Send" button in the scheduled text message to complete the process.
If you would like to move or delete the merge field, select the merge field between the "<>" symbols as well as the symbols (<%= Tapper.first_name %>) and cut & paste or delete as necessary.
