How to register your Cardtapp phone number

The deadline for registration of your Cardtapp Business Line phone number is just around the corner.

Starting August 31, 2023, any text messages sent from Cardtapp Business Line Phone Numbers that are not registered will have messages blocked by U.S. carriers.


Steps to complete the registration process

You should have received an email with steps to complete the registration of your business line.

If you have not received an email, you can complete the registration process by clicking on the phone icon in the top right hand corner of your Desktop Dashboard

Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Click here to register your brand with your 10DLC now" (alternatively, you can click here)

Once you have arrived on the Messaging & Voice registration screen, you will want to enter the address associated with your account (or verify the existing address on file with Cardtapp):

NOTE: Unless you are registering for a business and have a EIN or TAXID # it is best to use a personal email address (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc).


Next, once you have verified that all information is correct, you will want to hit "Submit." You will then see that the status of the submission form has changed to "Verification in progress"


IMPORTANT FINAL STEP: Confirming your registration:

You will receive a text message within minutes of completing the form (if there were no errors with the address information you submitted).

To complete the registration process, you need to reply "YES" to the text message within 24 hours of receiving the message.

If you do not reply "YES" within 24 hours, we will need to re-send the verification message. Contact our support team for assistance if you fail to complete the verification process in less than 24 hours via support@cardtapp.com
